Father's Love

Harloe, just here to share a story about a father who had a son that was born a spastic quadriplegic, cerebral palsy, non-speaking person. Well, Dick used to describe himself as 'porky' until the day that he took Rick on a run, and his son said to him, "Dad, when you were running, it felt as if my disability disappeared." Since then, both father and son had participated in a total of 942 events, including 216 Triathlons(6 of which were Ironman competitions), 20 Duathlons, and 65 Marathons, including 25 consecutive Boston Marathons. They also biked and ran across the USA in 1992 — a 3,735 mile journey that took them 45 days.
When asked what one thing Rick wished he could give his father, his reply was "The thing I'd most like is that my dad would sit in the chair and I would push him once."
Matthew &:9-11
"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! ..
