hello people!

just have something random to say here as usual.

hmmm today as i was trying to revise for prelims and all the weird weird concepts, i prayed to God for wisdom and sustainance la. then God reminded me that its not just me in this battle with all the crazy books and notes, but my fellow brothers and sisters as well. so yeah, hopefully when you guys take a break from mugging for Os, promos or prelims and see this, remember God's with you and jiayou okay! and Father i pray that you will bless all these fellow brothers and sisters wisdom of course to understand whatever concepts they are grappling with and be able to apply them, and yeah most importantly, bless them with your blessings of good health so that everyone will be well enough to study hard and glorify Your name! (: the weather's been bad recently and God i pray that you will protect them with the super high immunity so none of them will succumb to illness! and in jesus' name i pray, amen (:

Unit outing was successfully held at Sentosa's Tanjong Beach, kudos to our gamemasters who painstakingly put together a long string of hiong but fun games! I'm sure we were all very tired at the end of a huge amazing-race-hunt-for-random-things around the beach, including photos with kids and some tourists :D, followed by fruit captains ball which was a huge mess with tomatoes:P, wargames and a huge scissors paper stone with the gross material we had left :D.

I'm sure we've become more bonded as a unit playing in the sun, sand and the seas where we could see the beauty that was made by the Potter's hand. The way the sun set on the beach, the gentle sea breeze, the peaceful clashing of the waves and giving us perfect sunny weather for this event! Thank God for blessing this day!

Why drown in insecurity and be angst-y when there’s Hope perpetually awaiting you?

Why fear death when a Saviour died so you can live and have eternal life through him.
Why dread death when home is heaven and He will complete his work which he began in you.

Too good to be true? You bet, that’s my God for you.

Ezekiel 37:1-10

The Valley of Dry Bones

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, "Son of man, can these bones live?"
I said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."

Then he said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' "

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' " So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

While i was up late last night doing a paper, i heard Michael Smith, the lead vocalist of Delirious? deliver this prophesy to the people in the united Kingdom. The message was strong then, that God wants this revival to happen.

For some of us, this message might be targeted to your own heart. You face dryness, you don't know what to do, you are slipping away from God subtlely or otherwise and you are lost. But take comfort, for it says "I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life." God will raise you from the dead. He will give you breath that belongs to Him and him alone. Trust in Him and seek His word, God wants to speak to you and is smiling over you all the time. Seek this revival.

For some of us, it might be mediocrity. We just live everyday, growing bit by bit or not growing at all. Maybe sometimes we just live life as it is, normal and boring. Maybe everyday may seem sian to you. But in this passage Ezekiel prophesies, "So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.", a pile of bones uncovered by flesh was not only restored to life but restored to become an army, an army of God. Maybe today we can once again have a revival in our spiritual lives, decide to overcome odds to shine God's light. It may be difficult but in all things God works for the good of those who love Him. Believe in Him and ask Him! For "God alone knows".

For us as a group, let us work to live out and to create a revival in HC! J2s it's the last stretch, although we're as busy as nuts but let's do our part, any part we can, it doesn't matter because God sees every effort, every piece of work that you do in His name. He will honour it. J1s, jiayou coz you will be able to continue this revival in the school!

HC jiayou :) Though times may be tough let's cling onto God and believe in His love for us.

hey everyone [:

just thought i'd thank all of you for the really sweet card i got (today) [: i do miss caregroup with all of you just terribly much, and i realise what a luxury it used to be, with me breezing through the school gate without any trouble at all - and now we're both stuck in school till late every thurs. ughh. its irksome, but God is still gracious (: i'm still feeling rather sore about us not being able to come for cg, but next week should be one of the only times we'll be able to come (thank God for national day holidays !) if there's cg. okay i'm blabbing. ANYWAYS the whole point of this post was to thank every single one of you for every thoughtful message scrawled onto the cards for us. theyre treated like royalty. hahahahh. God must love me loads and loads to bless me with this opportunity to serve and grow with a fantabulous bunch like you. [:
