Why tell lies to impress, to be someone you’re not?
Why spend all your time, energy and emotions loving someone
When you may be loved back?
Why strive so hard to gain all the attention, and end up disruptive
When people will detest you for what you’ve done.
Why live a life for others, for parents, and goals and dreams
When you do not even know what will happen tomorrow?

\Why hurt so much, cry without knowing why and feel your heart shatter
When the world’s most-jilted Lover is waiting just for you to talk to him.
Why live and be disappointed when Someone out there promises you will not
Be disappointed?
Why worry so much when there’s an Encourager out there who promises to provide for you and you can trust him.
Why bury secrets in your heart, when there’s a Listener to whom you can entrust your life to.
Why live a life of uncertainty when a Planner has already mapped out your life.
Why kill and rob others of their chance to live when the Prince of Peace is waiting to work in your life.
Why deprive of your own chance to live, a fulfilled life, a life that is God-driven to live a life that burns you out, that tires you so much, the only word to your mind is fatigue.
Someone out there promises you rest only if you will turn to him and give him your time and your heart.
Why drown in insecurity and be angst-y when there’s Hope perpetually awaiting you?

Why fear death when a Saviour died so you can live and have eternal life through him.
Why dread death when home is heaven and He will complete his work which he began in you.

Too good to be true? You bet, that’s my God for you.
